Maria is fully capable of single-mindedness; she has been practicing non-stop in Melbourne since Decermber 31, 2011.

Hope 2012 will be Maria's best year, results-wise.

What ever she does - or however she plays - I'll love her to pieces anyways - I've missed her shrieks - I'd to watch old 2011 matches to get my Masha fix and to start to believe in her chances again - 2 Petkovic matches where she crushed Petkovic completely - Rome's Wozniacki match - Wimbledon's SF vs Lisicki - her match vs J Goerges and so on - All I hope for is that she does well and at least reach the QF or SF - but winning it all would be such a thrill - I promise that I'll be out on the street - waving the Russian flag if that happens -

Hard to know what will happen at 2012 AO but Maria starts 2012 ranked No. 4, which is easier to take than 2011 when she started No. 18.

Yeah I'd say so, she's trained heaps, and even multiple sessions a day a couple of times
