Let's Sharing Recipes Thread

Hi guys!

This thread's about to share food recipes. The purpose is to provide this thread a huge variety of recipes around the world, so I'd really appreciate if you take your time to post some dish you're good at preparing to!. Youtube videos and helpful links are more than welcomed!

You can include main dishes, snacks, salads, desserts and more..

Be sure you can include any kind of cuisine -such as Greek, Italian, Chinese, Caribbean, Spanish, Indian, Thai, Moroccan- or food culture. Thus, vegetarian and vegan recipes around the world are also appreciated.

People can also ask for advice to prepare some recipes. For instance, I love tzatziki and I wonder how actual Greeks prepare it

That's all. The idea's to make an useful and interesting thread where many users may be able to contribute and profit from this information at the same time.

Thank you

Re: Let's Sharing Recipes Thread

I'll start with an easy one

LEMON CHICKEN

Ingredients:
2 lemons
150 mL white wine
4 chicken breasts with skin
3 dsp (dessert spoon) flour
1 onion sliced
8 fresh thyme sprigs
10 fresh sage leave
s

Remove skin from one lemon and chop
Add juice from 1 lemon to wine
Put chicken in flour and fry 5 min. Each side and put aside.
Add onion to pan, remove and chop skin from 2nd lemon and slice it.
Add lemon and slices to the onion with thyme and sage.
Return chicken to pan and cook 3 min.
Add wine and lemon mixture and cook 10 min
Finally, season it.

And ready to eat

If you follow every step, it looks like this pic

Re: Let's Sharing Recipes Thread

here's something that you may like to try the next time you are making pound, yellow, or spice cake ~ add stout to the mix and your cake will come out tasting like diamonds:

I have done it and will swear it is one of the best things I have ever done in my many years of cooking.

How much to add? Do we replace it with any other ingredient?

Re: Let's Sharing Recipes Thread

I would ask my grandmother but she's probably sleeping right now

I've seen her make it many times, so I have an idea of what the recipe is like, but I don't know exactly

But it's pretty similar to the one you posted based on the ingredients used

EDIT-Also I think my grandmother also uses onions but I'm not 100% sure
