Re: The NY '11 Cheering-R3 v Niculescu
From an article I was reading on TENNIS.com:
Before the match [against Serena Williams, which she lost 06 16], Krajicek had consulted Lucie Safarova, her friend and doubles partner, for advice—after all, Safarova had stretched Serena to three sets in the quarterfinals of Eastbourne [Peter Bodo wrote this and this of course is wrong since he is a retard, it was Toronto], the first tournament Serena played this year. When Krajicek returned to the locker room right after the match, Safarova was waiting. Krajicek's eyes light up as she recounted how Safarova stammered out her profuse apologies: "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to ruin your game, I'll never give you advice again, I promise!"

Lucie, what have you done to us ? What a golden opportunity missed ! I can't stop of being fan of players that are queens at missing opportunities to make some big things

Re: The NY '11 Cheering-R3 v Niculescu
I am so frustrated by this atrocious loss and performance. My only mercy is that I didn't have to witness it like you poor guys did.
I am really baffled as to not only why Lucie can't return a joke of a first/second serve but as to why her serve speed and ace count were so poor at this tournament? The serve has been a big weapon all year, I guess it shows how shaky confidence-wise she is without it's reliability.

I agree with these sentiments, it almost wasn't worth her reaching this round if this is how she was going to bow out. It would be nice if there was an alterior explanation but it was probably just Lucie being Lucie.

Re: The NY '11 Cheering-R3 v Niculescu
Hi all,
Just saw Lucie's result, what happened ? She was injured or sick ? How is it possible to lose 0 & 1 to a mug pusher like Niculescu

Re: The NY '11 Cheering-R3 v Niculescu
I think she should have injury...There was no reason she serving like that. But at least she gain 500 points in this summer which is much more better than last year.
