As expected. Andrea played very good, very consistent tennis!
Until 5-5 a really even match, with great tennis and impressive winners from both Andrea and Nadia 
Cincinnati SF vs Jankovic. Their 3rd meeting. I expect a close match again

Aww too bad. But she is on her way up. She is always consistently winning multiple matches at the big tournaments now and taking the top players to really competitive matches and beating them too. I think a Top 10 year end finish should be to goal.

andrea played very solid in the beginning with good grounsrokes and sliceballs to the forehand of jankovic.
then she lost that completely after 4-4.
in the tiebreak she just played left and right instead of jankovics forehand..
.anytime jankovic could play backhand down the line..it was over for petkovic, but she didn't learn from that and played the same in the next point 
anyway, good tournament for andrea-now have a good rest for ny |
