Andrea is currently #12 and she is on good way to reach TOP10 (if not in Paris, maybe at Wimbledon where she loss R1 match in 2010).
Jelena Jankovic is in big danger to drop TOP10 spot after Roland Garros (probably needs at least SF to stay there), so maybe Serbia will be without WTA TOP10 player for the first time since february of 2007. It will be at least comforting for Serbian fans if replacement will be Andrea Petkovic. Also, Andrea is right now #8 ranked in YEC RACE (last spot for Istanbul 2011) which is really big improvement, and together with Julia Goerges she deserve big credit for rebirth and big comeback of womens tennis in Germany this season.

AMAZING BELGRADE MIRACLE: In just three years (2008-2011) 5 different players born in same city reach world #1 in rankings and several GS titles and finals (WTA singles: Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic, ATP singles: Novak Djokovic, ATP doubles: Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor... with notable performances of Bojana Jovanovski, Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki which is also all three born in Belgrade)
