On another note, Vika is 1st seed in Marbella and got Parra Santonja in the 1st round. Is she even gonna play there? I hope she withdraws because Marbella was the beginning of her awful clay season last year, and it seems like a break after Indian Wells and Miami would be good.

I just saw the SF against Vera. Vika played unbelievably well in the first set. At 3-2 ish in the second set I got a bit nervous. It looked to be as if her right shoulder was bothering her, and she didn't hit a winner from then on. She won basically because she was already up a break and Vera was a headcase making UEs.
I think Vika looked really fit though.

She got tough opponents in her section of the draw  she'll probably be too tired after Miami so I think the best would be to withdraw but we'll see.
