Omg that would be awesome

Re: Shahar's coach watch! Bye Pablo :sobbing: Who Will Be Shahar's New Coach???

Okkk.. So Shahar's new coach will be אליוט טלטצ'ר
(I have no idea how to pronounce the guy's name so I couldn't even search it and see how to write it )
Umm from some reason I don't think it's gonna work, he used to work with male players, and players who had a different game than Shahar.
However, good luck!!!!!!!1

Here is his Wikipedia link

Maybe as a male player's coach he will bring more aggressiveness to Shahar's game.

Thanks!

I really hope.
Soon we'll find out.
Are they working together during Stanford as well?

Re: Shahar's coach watch! Bye Pablo :sobbing: Who Will Be Shahar's New Coach???

I'd like Shahar tennis to be just like how it was during the year.

Against Kerber it was the classic case of what happens if shahar tries to be TOO agressive and it just looked bad, and it wasn't her game at all, she shouldn't be ballbashing like sharapova.

Re: Shahar's coach watch! Bye Pablo :sobbing: Who Will Be Shahar's New Coach???

I was talking about attitude, not ball speed.
Too many times in the past, Shahar played in a state of mind of not doing mistakes, instead of imposing her game on her rival.

Re: Shahar's coach watch! Bye Pablo :sobbing: Who Will Be Shahar's New Coach???

Shahar has decided to appoint Craig Cardon as her permanent coach.
Cardon was Ivanovic's coach when she reached no. 1 spot.

Re: Shahar's coach watch! Bye Pablo :sobbing: Who Will Be Shahar's New Coach???

Glad Shahar has found a coach who can possibly help her do some good things. Does anyone have any knowledge about Shahar's 2011 Australian Schedule? She's not on the list for Auckland so is she playing Brisbane? And I assume that she'll play Sydney over Hobart since she could be seeded there?

Cardon out, Solomon in

Shahar split with her coach for the last few months Craig Cardon, and began working with former top-5 player and RG finalist Harold Solomon.

"Permanent" is a very relative term when it comes to being Shahar's coach...

let's hope it will help her.
despite the advancements she made in her ranking,
I never got the impression she was on the right track with Cardon.

Well, at least their playing styles are similar, and she can invite him to the family's first Passover seder.

Strange that she can't hold on to one coach.

Actually there were three she was happy to hold on to, but each time their family issues got in the way: Oded Jacob and Oded Taig, who both couldn't commit to be full-time with her on tour after her 2006-07 breakthrough, and of course Pablo last year, with his fiancee demand to quit (and Shahar was ironically the one who introduced them to one another ).
How many tries will it take to make another one fit, who knows.
