From that point on it's a real pleasure to watch me scream, curse and hit myself, slam my racket, look like I'm about to cry, yell at my invisible coach and question why the hell I play the game. But I always wind up having lots of fun.

Re: What is your on court persona?
Oh yeah, and once in a match against Mr.SerenaWilliams, I did "the hand" but after the match at the net I apologized to him and told him I would never do that on purpose, I'm not a Justine Henin fan.

Re: What is your on court persona?
I'm pretty relaxed most of the time, unless its a tiebreak or a set point or something I'll say "come on" or something to pump me up.
I hardly ever get mad on court, I've always wondered If I'd play better mad

Re: What is your on court persona?
I think like Shvedova. I dont really grunt, except when playing a lunge volley, which I do a lot of. I let it show it if annoyed but never for long, and always smile after a great rally or shot. Im generally postive.

Re: What is your on court persona?
I'm rather positive. Clapping for great winners from my opponents. When there are any close calls, I will jsut ahnd the point to my opponent and would never discuss any of their calls. When I hit an extremely stupid UE, I burst out laughing, otherwise I just get ready for the next point. I have never smashed a racket in 5 years.
I don't grunt at all. I hit my thighs like Pironkova at times, because I move horribly and have to remind myself often to bend my knees more.

Re: What is your on court persona?
I would say my on court persona is very similar to vintage Mary Pierce. I have a routine between points and am pretty slow between points (I will slow it down even more if I notice it annoys my opponent) and walk around the court in that regal/haughty way similar to Mary. I like to play a few mind games with my opponents and will give little stares/look down on the opponent etc. I don't show a lot of emotion and have a bit of a stone face on court. Im not very mentally tough and am prone to getting nervous but I will fight.

Re: What is your on court persona?
I'm typically very quiet and very mentally focused. I fist pump and "come on" on good points won or if i'm down. Some days I honestly just go on court and act the totally opposite and get angry at everything etc. Idk why but it just happens occasionally. typically i'm pretty mentally strong though.

Re: What is your on court persona?
All five . I used to be really angry on court. My racquet paid for that. Recently, however, I have been a lot calmer and a lot more collected because I've started taking my time to relax between points, much o the annoyance of my opponents, so I do it more Along with "adje" I say things like allez, aweh and come on, and when things go wrong it tends to be asseblief. I rely on foreign languages evidently.

Re: What is your on court persona?
I used to be really cool and express no feelings. However, it all changed, I'm whining about everything lately I pull small fistpumps and quiet AJDE's on big points - Ana style. I am influenced by her when it comes to that.

Re: What is your on court persona?
Before I go into the match I say to myself: "Just stay relaxed and positive"
But to admit, the longer the match lasts, the more I'm exploding. I know that this is very unpleasant for my opponents to push myself after every point I made or to shout and swear at myself after every unforced error and yes, also discussions with the umpair have already happened.
When I was younger, I also had the habit to become defiant. Then I just hurried from one point to another, smashing the balls into the net.
The ironic part is that I'm just reacting the way I normally hate from pro tennis players.

Re: What is your on court persona?
I'm trying to push myself during the matches but generally I'm calm.
But after making some stupid errors in a row I'm beginning to yell and to shout out things loudly and screaming...
Then there is as well the opposite, if I make some good points, there is always a come on' and my fist
But I'm trying not to be an asshole to my opponent

Re: What is your on court persona?
Usually, I act very cool in my matches, Evert/Venus-like. I never yell and rarely smile, as I try to keep my head clear of (too many) emotions and focus on the tactical side of the match. It helps me to deal with any bad shots I make and prevents me from getting overconfident after I make a good one. Also, I've noticed it's pretty unnerving for my opponents.

Re: What is your on court persona?
On a tennis court, I am completely opposite to my usual calm self. If the match is going easy, then I'm very calm. But once it getstight there come the shouts, grunts, fistpumps, curses etc.
