Eastbourne and Wimbledon
After a tough clay start, she did very well in Paris, so hoping for a good run here! Defending an Eastbourne semi and R3 in Wimbledon. She should get some points here before Stanford....

Re: Eastbourne and Wimbledon
If Marion likes grass, then she should visit our OTHER tournament,Acapulco, next year;Acapulco Gold is a variety of Mexican grass that's known worldwide

Re: Eastbourne and Wimbledon
It seems that Marion will modify her clay schedule next year. 2007 program on clay was good. Not sure that she'll play Charleston.

Actually,if Schiavone can win RG,then Marion could even take the Wimbledon title with a few breaks......theoretically speaking

except that RG clay negates the strengths of the top players, whereas grass adds to their power! Remember also that Marion lost to Schiavone, on grass last year

Rezai beat former teen Wimbledon phenom Mirjana Lucic today...she's now in the QFs at Birmingham....It'd be something if they BOTH made the QFs at Wimby

Re: Eastbourne and Wimbledon
Rezai now in the semis at Birmingham...might meet Big Masha in the Final...raising French hopes for another successful Normand invasion

Let the French media concentrate on her all they want, she wont have lasting success in the top 20 like Marion has. Her good spell wont last too long.

Re: Eastbourne and Wimbledon
Dushevina first... 7-2 H2H or something. Easy 2nd round but then a tough quarter.
