What a week for the Romanian tennis: Niculescu, Olaru, Dulgheru, Szatmari qualified for WTA tournaments, Niculescu then beats Groenfeld and Beygelzimer to go to QF in Stratsbourg, Olaru and Dulgheru (WTA 200!) qualify to QF also, Dulgheru by beating Errani WTA 36!, Halep and Begu win their first round matches in RG qualifying! I would like this to continue! Dont' wake me up!!!!

Bad news 100K GDF Suez Romania was canceled this year because of financial difficulties of the main sponsor (GDF Suez). The tournament was suposed to be a WTA 220k event this year but insead they can't even hold a 100k event
But there will be a 75k tournement in July 24 - August 1 called "Turneul Ruxandra Dragomir". All the expenses for this tournement will come from Ruxandra's pocket.

And Pavel stopped coaching the Davis Cup team!
Considering the general inability of Romania's tennis federation, I'm surprised that we have so many up and coming women's player!
In soccer for example, the grievances of our national federation are clearly visible on the performances of our team...
