Golovinjured, I don't know when exactly Rennae and Lisa were in a relationship but I think it muxt have contributed to their ending their doubles team in 02 (although they played one tournament at the end of 03).


Yeah, Graf and Rennae were best friends on the tour. Rennae can be seen supporting Graf in most of her grand slam finals in the 90's (and she can even be heard in the 1992 RG final ).

Thanks Gee Tee Some blasts from the past there - Morton, McDonald, Byrne, Faull.
I know Kate McDonald was Rennae's regular doubles partner early on. They played a match against Graf and Sabatini at a slam (probably AO) in which a few funny things happened on court which led to Rennae and Steffi becoming friends. I haven't heard to whether they keep in contact now.

Dave - Rennae was so vocal in Graf's long FO final against Seles. I wonder if Graf found it a little distracting. Incidently Rennae was warming up for Birmingham on the grass but at Graf's request came back to Paris to cheer her on.

Nice to see that Rennae and Lisa have put the past behind them. I read that Lisa did find Rennae's behaviour on court very off-putting which put a strain on their on and off-court relationship.

I wish Rennae played more with Nicole Bradtke. They had some great Fed Cup results, Rennae's flair with Nicoles consistency. Pity they never teamed up on the tour as the wouldve been a tough team.

Went to Stubbs and Raymond training session on court 4 today. Stubbs is so skinny and Raymond is so fat!
