I thought it would be nice to start a thread about Angelique vd Meet. Angelique started late on the seniors tour. She was born 20.02.1991. She played a few tournaments in Holland and Belgium in the summer of 2008. And it took until last month before she played some tournaments again.

But now that she has got her 1st ranking (nr. 763 on 21.09.09), hopefully she will play more tournaments.

This week Angelique will play a 10k tournament in Clermond Ferrand (FRA) (Hardcourt).
She just missed the MD and is now the nr 1 seed in the qualifications. She has a BYE in the 1st round and has to win 1 match to qualify for the MD.

There is 1 LL (Anouk Delefortrie), but there seems to be 1 spot left in the MD as an opponent for Anne-Valerie Evain (FRA, 8).

Let's hope Angelique will be a LL

Angelique is on the entry list (qualifications) of Antalya the coming 2 weeks (5th of October and 12th of October).
