Argh...Maria/Cirstea lose the super tiebreak 8-10.  What a good opportunity to make the final of a premier tournament wasted. The match was 1 hour 34 minutes long.
Maria/Cirstea were up a minibreak at 4-2 in the super tiebreak, went from down a minibreak at 5-6 to up a minibreak at 7-6, lost both serves to fall a minibreak behind at 7-8, and saved a match point at 7-9 but were broken on their own serve. |

So sad they couldn't get the win today. It was such an exciting match! A few critical missed volleys at the end cost them.
