Re: Alize back to "BASICS" trying to get her rythme back on clay
Lol, my school French is letting me down, I can just understand the bit about Alize maybe rediscovering her fighting spirit without the pressure of defending points, and also the bit about being forced to enter smaller tournaments. Alize Molik, I was glad you replied to Ameliemomo, because I understood your comment much more easily. So many words I don't know in your comment Ameliemomo, good thing I'm a good guesser .
MJMS is tough, no doubt, but also because she has done so well recently, maybe that will take pressure off Alize? I guess we'll find out soon.

lol HowardH a good guesser I said to damien about what you said, that if she continues losing early like she does for 6 months now,she will be forced to play smaller tournament cause her ranking will drop. That probability may be the soulution to help her get back on track.

Yes that's a very smart comment. That could happen but until then, you have to know that alize entered the double draw ,she's pairing olga savchuk and play today.Dont know what she'll do but at least she's trying. Go Alize!
Centre Court (from 16.00hrs)
1. Parra Santonja vs. Palkina (Singles Q Final)
2. Brianti vs. Pavlyuchenkova (NB 18.30hrs)
3. Vinci vs. Domínguez Lino (NB 20.30hrs)
4. Cornet/Savchuk vs. Craybas/Grandin
omg italians are sheduling so late, first match at 16h00 alize will play very late

I think that's because of the heat in Palermo. It's too hot there for playing on the afternoon.
Good luck!

sorry to HowardH! For some reason sometimes the post just happen in French, but we really shouldn't for others I think. Alizé has such international fans.

lol yes but you should go to the spanish players section who speak spanish most of the time
well you know ,I dont know for you who live in Australia but as a french who lives in France so no used that much of speacking english, sometimes its just automatic you cant help putting some words in your native language
I know it cause I do it with my momosapiens friends and amelie has MANY english speakers fans lol but they like reading amelie interview in french. I think being french is totally a part of alize who cant be hidden. Perhaps should we create a french speackers thread there like I saw in mentennisforum for richard gasquet. Nice threads in which french and enlish speakers share some connections and translations for those who want to understand what the player said on interview etc...

Re: Alize back to "BASICS" trying to get her rythme back on clay
They won doubles yesterday 7-6(4) 6-1. I guess this Palermo tournament probably has lights on centre court, because they played really late.
Quote:
Tuesday, 14 July
COURT 2 Starting at: 4:00 PM
Nathalie VIERIN (ITA) vs Yaroslava SHVEDOVA (KAZ) followed by
Gisela DULKO (ARG) vs Anna-Lena GROENEFELD (GER) followed by
Alize CORNET (FRA) vs Maria Jose MARTINEZ SANCHEZ (ESP)
|
Allez!

Re: Alize back to "BASICS" trying to get her rythme back on clay
Well in fact they didnt play doubles on centre court cause the vinci match was too long. Maybe palermo has many lights on the big courts. They must have played on court2.

Wish I could see the match. She seems to be doing fine at the start at least.
