Looks like no tournament for Silvia next week after all. She's still on the list, but not in the quali draw and without a wildcard.

In R2 she's playing Madison Brengle, 18 y.o. ranked 299 (with a career high of 216), so hoping for an upset. And later today, she's playing against her compatriot Ajla Tomljanovic in the first round of girls' doubles.

Brengle def. Njiric 7:6(1) 6:3 - unfortunatelly no surprise

She also lost doubles 1st round 5:7 4:6. Let's hope she'll do better next week when she (probably) plays qualies of Sarajevo 25k.

She got on the quali list for Sarajevo, unfortunatelly no MD WC or anything like that. But at this point, it's good she's playing anything she can. Quali draw will probably be out tomorrow.

She plays an unranked wildcard player in QR1, 16 y.o. Lujinovic. If she beats her, she plays another unranked, this time 17 y.o., Arsic. But let's make it one step at a time

ITF website says Silvia got a QD WC, but she's on the quali list even without it, so not sure what's that all about.

Silvia is playing Dubrovnik 10k this week, she qualified (well, actually got through as a lucky loser) and is playing 8th seed Krstajic in R1

Krstajic is a former #223, but hasn't won a match since late May. Hope Silvia can make an upset here.

Silvia defeated Krstajic today. Silvia won the first set 64 then Krstajic retired.

In R2, Silvia will play either Nicolette Van Uitert (NED; #795) or Dijana Banovec (CRO; unranked).

at least she made the md as an ll. hopefully she can play with no pressure and do well. that loss in qualies was really bad

Another point for Silvia: she beat Banovec 46 62 60. In the QF, she plays Sedenkova (CZE; #729 but career-high #380).

That one might be too tough - hope I'm wrong. But it's already a good tournament for her; she's very close to top900 with these points.
