I can't believe it's happening: Jelena's first WTA qualy tournament. I've been anticipating this ever since I started following her results. This is exciting!
Hope she can take advantage of her draw. In the first round, she plays an unranked wildcard player, Krejsova (I've never heard of her; hope she isn't very good!).
Good luck, Jelena. Make us proud!

She won already? That's great - next up Sromova, right? That's going to be more challenging, but hopefully Jelena can handle her as well and through to the MD. Also a chance for a LL spot if she's not able to win her next match, but hopefully she won't even need that.

According to the scoreboard, definitely not Sromova, she lost to Schaefer.
