You can definitely see where the improvements in her game are coming from. Tonight was ultimately up to lose errors through nerves which made her more dependant on looking for help in the box. She's still in a good position and has had some great matches this year so far and has established a great foundation to build her way back. The loss is obviously disappointing but I don't see it as another step back.
Didn't see the match, but from all the comments here it sounds like it was a bit too much pressure too soon in her comeback. Such a shame, a win or two here would have done wonders for her confidence.
But no matter, I'm still sure she's back on the right track. She just has to be patient and keep applying herself and things will turn around for her in time.
Didn't see it either...damn time difference, but seemed like a decent effort. Tough ask tho, but have seen signs last few weeks that she is getting better. Hope this doesn't upset her too much. Progress is being made
Tomorrow night she plays mixed doubles with Matt Ebden against number 2 seeds Vesnina/Paes. I was gonna leave after the Berdych Vs Djokovic match but now i will be staying
