I distinctly remember her saying how couples being all over each other on social media annoyed her. Was when her and Sasha were still on. So doubt it will happen. They see each other a lot and have each other's phone numbers so theres no need to make the follower's cringe.
That picture is so lame. Who cares if Paire and Chardy are higher ranked than Dimitrov? They are still not the best known Frenchmen not with Tsonga, Monfils, and Simon around.
And why are people obssessed with her following players or not? What difference would it make?

All of this right here. Social media can be a useful tool but there's so much petty drama that can be created out of a harmless tweet and that just ruins it. I try to stay away from that and Maria will be better off if she does as well.
Yes, IMO Maria will be better when she goes back to her FB-mode and restrict herself from expressing how she doesn't know this or that player and from tweeting about other people's boyfriends - unprovoked.
I wonder why she makes such a point of not following/interacting with any of the tennis community. Even snubbing Austin and all the other retired players. Does she really need to take it that far?
There was the interpretation in Gm that Maria was implying they were hot and that's why she should watch more, Makes sense, not sure if it's the right one though, I know it's not the impression I got.
Once her career is over (hopefully not until many, many years from now) I would LOVE to read her tennis biography. She must have a million stories to tell.
She has just put her Twitter in the description. She should make her tweets appear as posts on Facebook; it will save her effort posting on both outlets as well.
