I hope you don't mind me starting a new thread :scared:.

I thought we could put miscellaneous stuff in here, plus any questions we may have or anything else we want to talk about.

What d'ya think?

I'll start it off by saying "I've got A row seats for Eastbourne on the Wednesday for Centre Court" :bounce::bounce::bounce: and I'm hoping to see Petra there  ). I can't wait :bounce:

If, by any chance, you don't want this thread in here, let me know and I'll delete it.

If you're implying what aye THINK you are, then that's a bit strange;are you ShiftyFELLA or Shifty Chong Chang?Do you do as the Chinese restaurants do(?) :cut off rat tails and call it 'beef'?You can answer that later, cuz I'm off for now:wavey:

Not only Chinese makes a food from dogs, although it's not that common and popular here in Europe. ;)

Oh, Brucie Brucie what should i do with you? Clearly your mind set was affected by shortsighted modern american culture that was created by insecure **** feminist and degradated ******** who mate with their own sisters and know nothing about rich and long lasting traditions of Chinese\Indian\Arabian cultures that has been around more then 5000 years. China is not stronghold of pure evil and humiliation of humans, Korea is not full of dog eating monkeys, India is not some rat hole where cows piss on you and Arabia is not filled with armed bedouins that will not rest until all americans are dead because they wish to avenge their fallen brothers in the name of Allah. You should stop watching CBS News and broaden your prospective of the world. Eating dogs is not strange or more common as making bison stew or chewing insects as your ancestors used to do, using pigeons that carry more diseases that you can imagine for your burritos is more common then eating delicacy such as dog\horse meat:wavey:

Shifty,I can only hope that you're going for high vulgar shock value and that you're NOT lacing your Mushrooms with PCP.Neither the longevity of an activity nor its popularity have ANYthing to do with its quality.People have been murdering and committing sodomy since the beginning of humanity, and the amount of years doesn't make either activity GOOD.Likewise,One Direction isn't more musically talented than Mozart--or even a retarded goat, for that matter:lol:--just b/c they're more popular with today's crowd.....Oh,and I never rely on the B.S. propaganda machine known as mainstream media. That's how people like Goebbels control the masses(wink, wink)

As you've read, the human struggle has yielded anomalies where some of the historically impressive cultures--the Chinese, the Romans, the Aztecs--have ALSO been capable of the most simple-minded savagery that's even SUB-animal level. The greater deeds don't mitigate the disgrace of the shameful ones, such as sacrificing one's own children to man-made totems that are deaf and dumb.

You've already lost this debate as our comrade Jack has admitted that such barbaric eating practices are very rare in Europe and MOSt other places.for that matter, you'd never dare to propose such absurdity as dog-eating to a woman who had caught your eye....or else you'd be making love TO YOURSELF again:lol:...dreaming of Lesia,Genie and Elina from afar

I could sanction dog-eating to someone who was actually starved...or if they were wild beasts such as hyenae or wolves. However, the information age has allowed us to know and control EXACTLY what we put in our burritos;).I don't have the same worshipful attitude towards Ted Nugent that others do,but he is a hero to gun-toters everywhere and he frightens the millionaire douchebags in the agribusiness industry with his message of hunting, killing and preparing your own food......it's really not so difficult:angel:

O RLY? WHo wrote this?
China has a rich cultural history,of course, but the penchant for savagery that exists there is appalling. If you read some of the stories of human rights violations over there, you'd shake your head in disbelief--you'd barely be able to picture what you read.

Brucie you disappoint me, i've never thought you was that shortsighted and caught up in small minded beliefs of american culture that full of taboos and common misconceptions about the world in general. Don't tell me that eating snakes, heck even frogs is taboo to you?

for that matter, you'd never dare to propose such absurdity as dog-eating to a woman who had caught your eye....or else you'd be making love TO YOURSELF again:lol:...dreaming of Lesia,Genie and Elina from afar
:spit: Says man who writes all those sex fantasy stories about players

It's hard to think clearly, folks, when dealing with a family health crisis, but some things seem kinda simple: In real life,if my jobless neighbor is playing his stereo too loudly during the workweek at 3 am...and then refuses a polite request to turn it down...then I can kick him in the teeth:cool:,walk up in his house and stick a knife in his speakers and shred them...letting the police sort things out later if he chooses to complain to them.

Here at TF,though,people--some of whom are quite cowardly;)--can hide behind the anonymous safety of a poster name,so the mods are the only arbitrators in some cases.Even so,in seven years,I've never once made any attempt to punish another poster or get him/her banned. To me,that's much worse than asking mods to block/delete posts that fill the threads with irrelevant clutter...such as men's tennis...and no one gets punished at all unless he/she acts like a hardhead and ignore the mod's directive:shrug:.If Petra played Monterrey, for example,I doubt that any of you would enjoy it if I kept posting, over and over, photos of dead bodies, victims of narco-crime,in Monterrey...with the excuse/pretext that Petra was playing there.....I doubt that Petra will come to Monterrey if she read about the big casino massacre, though:eek:

Actually, this story has been known for quite a while,Paul.I heard a Mexican elementary-school girl give a school report on that last year, and my gf--who's a huge fan,as you know--has long since known all about that, too.Still,it's also nice to hear from you,Paul:)

Good work, Paul! :lol: :worship::haha:

Okay, this was just too much,so I had to post it here:lol:....There was a lot of criticism, some of it understandable, when Caro was #1,but now there's going to be a new member of the Top 5 next week,Errani, and I wanted to post her W/L record vs. the current Top 5(am not sure which player is dropping out on Monday).

Vs. Serena 0-5
Vs. Maria 0-4
Vs. Vika 1-6
Vs. Aga 1-6
Vs. Li 0-5

The win over Vika came at Moscow 2008 when Vika was 18,and the win over Aga came back in 2006;overall,that's 2-26,or a winning percentage of 07.1%:haha:.If you set aside the two fluke victories, when Vika and Aga had barely left Juniors, virtually all of the 26 losses were straight-setters.I can't recall the last time that the gulf between ONE member of the Top 5 and the rest of them was so huge. There have been whispers of PED use by Errani cuz either her coach or trainer--I forget which--has a long history of affiliation with banned athletes. However, there hasn't been any damning evidence yet so we can't openly accuse Sara of misdeeds. To be fair, she seems like a sweet, pleasant gal,and I'm glad that she's getting to live out her dreams as a tenista....That H2H above, though,is REALLY something else:lol:

By now, many of you have heard of our reputation as thieves:eek:,but I've got to ask: Are other countries driving music stores out of business because the citizenry only steals music off the internet and never actually BUYS it??

This isn't even sports-related,tbh,but I just had to comment that America's futbol coach,Miguel Herrera,REALLY is butt-ugly:lol:.As a frame of reference on a relative attractiveness scale,Herrera is like the Carla Suarez Navarro of Association Football coaches.Even prostitutes ask him to turn the lights off so that they can pretend that they're with another man

Many of you probably find it really mundane, but I think it's quite cute when kitties meow-talk with you even though they can clearly tell that you belong to a different species.Just one time, I'd love to have a translator that vocalized exactly what they were trying to say at such moments:lol:

So, I want to know...

1. Have the rumors about Petra being romantically involved with Stepanek actually been confirmed, or did everyone forget all about her when Bartoli won Wimbledon?

2. Anyone think Petra should try to hire Hogstedt? He might help her figure Maria out pretty quickly.

3. How long are we going to watch this f****ing mediocrity. I see the videos of 2011 and early 2012 and I wonder why she doesn't realize what is obvious to everyone else.

4. Do you think she has any chance at the US Open?

4. Do you think she has any chance at the US Open?
No

3. How long are we going to watch this f****ing mediocrity.
this season is write off

2. Anyone think Petra should try to hire Hogstedt?
She won´t do it. Wrong timing

1. Have the rumors about Petra being romantically involved with Stepanek actually been confirmed
It was not confirmed. I would not called it "romantically involved." It is better we don´t hear anything.

#587 ·
If you think Maria dumped Hogstedt because he wouldn't travel enough...

I agree with the rest of it.

#588 ·
Well, yeah, the other thing is that she gets her ass kicked by Rena each time they meet each other in the final, won only one title this year and lost to Larger de Brito (or how is her name ) in second round of Wimby.

I don't know, but I am hoping for Petra to pick up a bit her game this american season. Maybe is just wishful thinking. Half the season is already gone, and I can't really imagine her playing much worse that she's done these last months. There were some momentary flashes of brilliance in some of her Wimbledon matches that I hadn't seen in a long time, and she made it to the QF after all, better than I expected. If only she could get a little fitter and be more determined and confident on court. She needs desperately to have a couple a top 10 wins again: Li, Kerber, Aga...that's feasible, and it would be a great confidence booster. I've been very critical with Petra, but I still refuse to believe that the 2011 player is gone for ever.

Great post, I couldn't say it better. :worship:

It's interesting that country that invented Google translator cannot use it correctly.

Queen of Linz is VIP. Ana is photogenic. I love Ajde and fist pumping. Bruce would be proud.[/IMG]
If you were a rich, sleazy playboy who used her as a sex toy, then you could be one of Ana's many bfs-of-the-week. Actually, what I'm proud of is knowing one of the greatest creative minds in the history of tennis--heck, ALL sports--fandom...that being YOU, Paul:worship:
