Someone please remind her that not all tennis matches have to be three sets long

Compared to the Kreijcikova matches, those first sets don't even count as 2 full ones

True, but still... Hope she gets back in this match. A good sing winning a game after losing 7 consecutive ones.

She let things go in that second set, but if she can start playing well again, Brengle looked v beatable at the start of the match. No idea how she looks now since I eventually had to live the apt and head into work. Fingers crossed!

Neah... 41 down, I don't think she will make it after what matches she had this week. A shame though

True, another comeback after four 3-set matches in a row was asking for a bit much. Still a good run and good timing getting back into match shape before RG.

Brengle is the ultimate pusher, she took advantage of Andreea's fatigue

2014 Roland Garros, Q-R128 :
Tamira Paszek (AUT) d.
Andreea Mitu (ROU) 62 75
Predictable, but nevertheless sad.

She kinda has a chance here... that's one hell of a weak draw

Meh... This is Tamira's match to lose. But I doubt she will, given Andreea's recent injuries and lack of matches.

Yup... would have liked for Alex D to get her this time around

She may be a lot of things the Czech, but she isn't weak. I doubt Alex or Andreea could beat her today. But let's see how things go against Tamira first.

Mituletz, I know we kept asking you to stop losing in R2 qualifiers, but I'd be very happy with a R1 win here. Paszek is pretty unpredictable, so maybe she'll have an of day.

Everything possible here, literally everything if this goes like their two matches at the end of last year.
One thing for sure, I will not follow this on livescore to save myself from harm.

Bad news: Andreea meets a nemisis in Tamira (0-2).
Good news: Those were both on hard courts.
Andreea has second-round qualy points to defend, and she meets Tamira on Tamira's weakest surface. Anything is possible
