Since I have seen only a few pics of Coco and a short description that her game was powerful I'd love to know a bit more abut her and I hope some people who have watched her could give me a detailed report?
But I also want to use it as her cheering Thread as shes this week into the quarters of a G1 with a 6-0 6-1 over Stacey Tan who once won a senior title
Now she play Zaruhi Harutyuntyan from Armenia i think it's doable.
CoCo beat Sema today 6/4 6/1 Like i pointed out in the GM thread, the 1st serve % was below 50% as usual. But once she got in her 1st serve she won 22 of the 29 pts. Her 2nd serve winning % was also pretty good at 22 for 35...but still waaay too many 2nd serves for comfort More positives, she was 6 for 6 on break points
CoCo lost in the 1 st rd Q's today against Eleni D 6/3 7/6 . She seems to have Co's number. Speaking of numbers, 11 df's to 5 aces and a 51% 1st serve :-/
Yeah, tell me about it Rena is in such goat form atm. I guess the one good thing is that Co's fans will be able to see her on the tube on Monday/Tuesday
CoCo is playing the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo next week. She's in the Q draw and has a tough opener against Andrea Hlavackova . Hopefully she plays to her best form... GL!
Does anyone have any news on why CoCo didn't play during the fall season ? I know she played one tourney in Japan where she lost in the 1st Q rd, and that was it...
I asked Coco on twitter what she was up to in the off season, and she replied that she's training really hard at Bollettieri's Academy. I hope we will see her make vast improvements next season!
CoCo lost a tough 3 setter to the 2 time Auckland champ Eleni D. I don't really want to get into the details . I'm just hoping this loss will motivate her even more to do better next week and at the AO...
