I can't believe there wasn't a thread for one of Ukraine's rising stars.

She's born on 12 September 1994. She's the reigning junior Roland Garros Champion and has been the ranked number 1 on the ITF circuit. On the professional tour, she has also made the finals of a 25K losing to another talented teenager, Lyuda Kichenok. Her highest WTA ranking is 548.

Let's all cheer for her as she rises up the rankings soon and be a real star on the WTA tour!

Ukrainian FC captain's words on the players:

Captain of Ukraine Igor Dernovsky commented Tennis Portal of Ukraine national team of Ukraine and Spain for the next match in the World Group of the Fed Cup.

"Lesya Tsurenko and Elina Svitolina - the undisputed leader on the Ukrainian women's tennis segodnyashy day. Olga Savchuk I invited as an excellent doubles player and a man who in the match for sbonuyu will fight for every ball. Remember how she struggled in Australia. Yulia Beygelzimer - very skilled player, a very important and wonderful atmosphere in the team. wanted to see in the team Katerina Kozlov, but it has not yet recovered from the injury.

The match against Spain will be very difficult and, above all need fighters with more experience fighting command that will pull every ball in the game against the experienced ground troops.

Spanish women have opted for tennis players who own rotation. The same Torro-Flor is very uncomfortable for us. Youth players are beating them. Perhaps the Spanish federation could not agree with someone, Carla Suarez Navarro, for example. Perhaps the Spaniard will make one change compared with the initial application, but usually in women's team this is rare, and the captains are making small changes - that is, change one player. "

EILAT, ISRAEL: Fresh from her first ever appearance in the main draw of the Australian Open, 18-year-old Elina Svitolina was back in action on the ITF Pro Circuit.

The Russian teenager swept to victory in both the singles and doubles events, the first time in her career she has achieved such a feat at the same tournament, and her title wins have seen her elevated to new career high WTA rankings of 104 and 292 in singles and doubles respectively.

Her route to the final saw her defeating all-comers in straight sets, including a second round victory over Alla Kudryavtseva, her doubles partner. In the final she she faced Russia's Marta Sirotkina and a 63 36 75 win saw Svitolina pick up her fifth career ITF Pro Circuit singles title.

In the doubles event, Svitolina earned her first doubles title since 2010 with a 61 63 defeat of Corinna Dentoni and Aliaksandra Sasnovich with partner Kudryatseva with whom she was partnering for the very first time.
