She is very well known to be Maria Sharapova's little cousin. Her father is Alexander Sharapov who is Yuri's brother.
She is currently very active junior. Her hype may truly become a reality. She was training at Moscow if I am right before she moved to USA to train at the prestigious Chris Evert Academy.
Despite the fact that she is cute looking little girl, she has the talent. She plays on tournaments of a higher tier than junior girls of her age. She is definetly having a though training by doing so.
Myself is not a very good source of information even though I did find a couple things a while ago.
Yet, I hope that other fans might as well bring something cool from her.
This may be a very early beginning, but I hope that we may fund a very strong base. Let's cheer for our star of the Future... Daria Sharapova!

QR1 - Daria SHARAPOVA (BLR) vs Giuliana OLMOS (MEX)
April 23, 2012 STUTTGART, Germany - She's not only making her first appearance in Stuttgart, she's making her first appearance in Germany since 2005. She's Maria Sharapova, and she met the Stuttgart press on Monday afternoon...
...
On her cousin, Daria Sharapova, who is a rising junior player...
"She trained in a different part of Florida, so I haven't seen her too much, though she's now training in Sarasota. The transition from juniors to the pros is one of the toughest transitions for anybody, and that's really when you learn about developing your game and playing at a new level. I've seen so many juniors with so much talent, but then you get to a position where some things change, in your life or in the competition. I hope she makes the transition."
Are y'all sure they didn't clone Masha?:spit:
Anyway, Daria just won the Daytona Beach G4, quite a good performance. She's almost 17, though, she should've been better at this age.
