Tha Portugal capital host this year the first ever edittion of the Nations Championships. It will work exactly as the Fed Cup. First you decide the two wildcards left in the draw then the competitions begins with the same rules as PYW. We will have 16 teams playing in a KO style. Every rubber will have two singles matches and one doubles match. The players playing for each country will be based on the WTA rankings. The Entry List was based on the actual Fed Cup rankings.
