PYW Doubles Indian Wells
Welcome to Indian Wells, USA. This is the first Premier Mandatory event of the year, marking it the biggest tournament since the Australian Open. Cara Black is not in action this week surprisingly, however just about all the other top names in doubles will be, including Yaroslava Shvedova who is reuniting with Vania King, with whom she has never lost, after an abdominal injury had separated them for the early months of 2011. Teams such as Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Meghann Shaughnessy, who have never lost either, and Sania Mirza and Elena Vesnina will provide them some tough competition though, and the recent PYW Doubles Doha champions Shahar Peer and Shuai Peng are in the draw so they will hope for more success in the desert as well. Who can take this prestigious trophy? Vote now as the tournament begins!
