I think it's time to start a new thread for Su-wei in 2007. She got a new sponsor and fitness trainer before French Open to play more WTA events this year. We will see how she does this year.
Su-wei has a good start at French qualifying rounds. She won all 3 matches ( all 3 sets ) advanced to main draws. She will play Dulko in her first round match. Su-wei played Dulko once in Japan. She lost to Dulko in a very tight 3 set 7-5 in third. Maybe Su-wei is stronger this time and eager to win some matches here at French. I hope that Su-wei could play Sharapova in 3rd round. (Su-wei beat Sharapova before in junior). Good-luck, Su-wei !! All the best !!
OK
I still don't know why they can't just give every player that has enough data about them one
BTW, If Su-Wei makes QF (beats Woz and Kuzzy) she will be Top 20
She is 23 right now in projected rankings
It wasn't very difficult today against Kuz because the only thing Kuz did well today was her serve. Kuz's movement isn't so great and does make errors. But Su-Wei didn't want to play today hence the 2 and 1 game (she implied that on facebook last night after a drama).
Though, not like she will beat Kuz even if she wanted to play.

At least she should be in full power in doubles and mixed cause she can't be responsible for Peng and Bopanna's result.
From what I saw her footwork was below par and her shotplacement so unsharp all Sveta had to do was walk around her BH and hit a FH to win the points.
I don't know what is wrong with her but I hoop she keeps herself motivated, they have a really tough draw in doubles but if she plays well I'm hoping for a surprise result.
I don't know about Peng's form ...

Because she is still sick and injured, her coach says that she can withdraw from Pattaya this week
but she thinks she can get the trainers at the tournament to help her for free
so she decides to still play this week but her main goal this week is not competing....
expecting her to lose in R1 with scores like 36 46
According to her facebook Paul told her not to play this week, but she decided to come for some free physician therapy from the trainers  so -110 points after next week's Pattaya points fall off.

To be honest, she should skip Fed Cup if her wrist is not healed.
Also Chang withdrew from Doha Q because she has to play Fed Cup that weekend.

Good thing she withdrew from Fed Cup.
I hope she can play well in Doha, Dubai or Kuala Lumpur... one of the three would be great so she can be seeded for Indian Wells and Miami.
According to her Facebook, she is not recovered yet
and her coach suggests her not to play Doha
but she again says she can get free play practice with others so she will go
so expecting something from the bakery....
she will see if she gets into MD of Dubai to determine if she will play
