She plays (4)Anda Perianu in the 1st round. This should be tough for her, but Lindsay was once a top player so you never know when she'll turn things around.
They lost in 3 sets They were on the verge of winning in str8 sets, but lost 7-5 in the 2nd and then i think 6-3 in the 3rd
I am also getting worried about LLWs singles play. I think its great that she is doing so well in doubles. However, i do not want her to become a doubles specialist  I doubt she wants that aswell I think LLW next plays in the 75K in DC using her SR to get into the MD ...
Before that, she's in the qualy field for the Lexington 50K next week. For that one, she's in on her own, current ranking. There are some very good players in that qualy field, so it will be a good test for Lindsay. I'd love to see her re-gain the form she was showing when I saw her clobber Melissa Torres in Allentown, but she's really having a lot of trouble getting her consistency back.

Yeah, i forgot about that one LLW usually gets WCs into ITF tournys in the south since she is from Georgia Although, at this point...it may be a smart thing to play qualies to get some of her confidence back
Ugh i hope this match doesn't turn out like the one in Allentown or Lindsay doesn't stand a chance. My guess is Chanelle will keep employing the drop shot against her.
I read a report saying that she played well, it's just that Czink was doing everything better than Lindsay. Poor Linds, will she ever start winning in singles again.

I know things seem dim right for LLW, but...she has gotten some really bad draws. She has made competitive matches out of all of them. Hopefully she can get some wins under her belt during the fall season.Allot of the lower ranked players will be overseas to play in in the smaller Asian tourneys She needs more match wins to boost her confidence.
I think that Lindsay will only play here the U.S for the rest of the year-her and Czink won the doubles @ Washington- she has withdrawn from Boston 75k- hope she plays @ the Open
Honestly, I think Lindsay could probably use a little break about now. What she's been attempting to do this year is incredibly tough. I'm not saying she's not up to the challenge, but she isn't 20 any more; she probably could benefit from a little r & r now and then to recharge her batteries, then get back out there with renewed enthusiasm. We're pulling for you, Lindsay, Heath, & kids!
You're probably right. I hope she at least plays USO qualifying (if she gets a qualifying WC that is). After that, take at least a couple months off, if not the rest of the season and recharge for next year like you said.
