Nice win for Moore (no doubt causing some red AIS faces, oops), Peers salvaged some, solid for Boj, good challenges from Svinos and Patterson. Hoang is a confidence player. Quarters should be good!
Zlochova doesn't have a great style/ game though gets results from the second tier or rookie Pro Tour players who don't know how to counter that. Vicky has a lot of potential and generally from a solid juniors pathway though seems ups and downs along the way with injuries, TA coaches, motivation etc. Perhaps has fallen in and out of favour, though could be great. Ranking performance has surpassed the likes of Woolcock, Sanders, etc in similar peer group.
^ She's always been ahead of them, and quite frankly should be even further ahead than what she is now. I wonder how dedicated she is. Was she still at school this year?
unless she dropped out for whatever reason, she would be in year 12 this year since she's a '94 like me, so next year should be travelling to overseas tournaments a bit more
Bendigo quarters- good challenges from Boj and Alize (tres jolie fille). I thought Sanders would get more games off Barty and have at least one close set. But perhaps still not 100% fit. Vicky Raj too. Did anyone see the games for the main points of play? Top half semis should be interesting...
Some interesting names have popped up in the Q List
Nice to see Priscilla on the list.
I expect Viki, Jess, Azra and Tammi to get the WCs if they don't get into MD.
And it looks like some players/juniors are staying in Australia from AO as well.
So many youngsters from Juniors like Kiick, Kontaveit, Maciejewska, Cosregi, Xu can all do some damage in Q.

Burnie $25K WCMs- Myers, Rosatello, Woolcock, Hon. Rosatello (ITA, WTA1058)? Woolcock back on the TA favs list... Rogowska etc still mucking around in local 25Ks...
TA favs did not perform well in recent internationals, even with all the WCs handed out, did anyone of them win a match, or even a set?
(1)Oliva Rogowska (AUS) v (wc)Camilla Rosatello (ITA) - If Liv doesn't win this
Misa Eguchi (JPN) v Rika Fujiwara (JPN)
Arina Rodionova (RUS) v Ksenia Lykina (RUS) - Arina should win this easily.
(6)Yurika Sema (JPN) v Shuko Aoyama (JPN)
(3)Chanel Simmonds (RSA) v Bojana Bobusic (AUS) - Bad draw for Boj Hopefully she can sneak this one out but then she would have Savic in QF.
Miyabi Inoue (JPN) v (LL)Stephanie Bengson (AUS) - Good chance for Steph but Inoue has done well in previous Aussie 25ks
(Q)Tammi Patterson (AUS) v (Q)Alexandra Kiick (USA) - Tammi should get this win under her belt
(8)Ana Savic (CRO) v (wc)Priscilla Hon (AUS) - Darn it what a bad draw for Priscilla
(7)Stephanie Vogt (LIE) v (Q)Viktorija Rajicic (AUS) - Vogt isn't doing so well lately, maybe Viki can sneak it out here.
Yuxuan Zhang (CHN) v (Q)Anett Kontaveit (EST)
Sheng-Nan Sun (CHN) v (Q)Emily Webley-Smith (GBR)
(4)Erika Sema (JPN) v (Q)Jessica Moore (AUS) -
(5)Monique Adamczak (AUS) v (wc)Abbie Myers (AUS) - WC playoff rematch
(wc)Belinda Woolcock (AUS) v Risa Ozaki (JPN) - Good chance for Belinda here!
Erika Takao (JPN) v (Q)Azra Hadzic (AUS) - I hope Azra can win this.
(2)Sacha Jones (AUS) v (Q)Mari Tanaka (JPN) - Should be able to make QF and further, but depends if she still has that injury?
