she could be really something. 13 y.o. and already in an IMG London Academy, made it to slam junior qualies in just a few months on the circuit etc. Hope she's a future star.
As BlueTrees said, I think it's a bad schedule. There are loads of clay court events she can get into. It's her weakest surface, which is only more reason to play these events.
Hsieh Su-Wei doesn't have one
Kaia only got one last year from immense pressure.
They have made the rules stricter because I don't think the database can handle too many sub-forums
She will get one one day
Also to have a sub-forum there has to be enough stuff around like highlights, photos etc. and with Donna being a Junior that hasn't really happened yet
In due course though, In Due Course
Cute interview, a bit tense at the start but she loosened up towards the end
Interesting questions & answers:
- Best and worst moments on Tour? Best was winning R1 in Tashkent and R1 in Melbourne, the worst was losing QR3 at the USO.
- Favorite cities that you've visited? Melbourne and NYC.
- What was it like to dance in high heels on stage in Fed Cup? The reason for that was because every player new to FC had to perform something on stage, so Ana picked me up to help her and we pulled Iva along.
- A day in the life of Donna Vekic? I hit the practice court around 8 AM and am there until around 10, then a bit of rest and lunch, practice again from 1 until 3 PM after which there's also fitness practice and a physio, and that's pretty much it.
- Something for viewers to finish off this interview? If you bet on me and I lose, want you to know that I'm sorry
Donna has so come out of her shell
It's so cute
She used to be like a broken record IMO but she has some of the most original tweets and Facebook posts now
Donna seems to be a really fun and charming girl. Hope she can step it up to the next level.

Happy to be back in London! After a hard day of training its always good to relax and have fun playing football in the garden. Watch out Cristiano Ronaldo
Evo me opet u Londonu! Nakon napornog dana treninga, obozavam opustanje igrajuci nogomet u vrtu. Ronaldo cuvaj me se!
An interesting stat, thanks for digging that out I remember when we had so many good players that Mamic's #83 was taken for granted by pretty much everyone. Makes you wonder.
After Istanbul she will probably break Top 80
BTW, if she didn't have Tashkent on her ranking, would she be Top 100?
It would be a genuinely great achievement to still be Top 100 after Tashkent by her
