Good idea for starting this thread, I definitely think she deserves it and for sure Dalma is a very talented player. :D

She's currently #2 on Tennis Europe 14&U rankings behind Olga Fridman. Both of them are by far the best two players of the year. Dalma was #1 for quite a period until Olga recently overtook her and now leads by just 30 points!

Dalma received the Tennis Europe Girls 14&U Player of the Year award. Her highlights this year include winning ITF G4 Budapest, Category 1 16&U Warszawa, two Category 1 14&U events in Maia and Piestany, Category 2 14&U Kosice and finally the 14&U Tennis Europe Junior Masters. She also reached finals in ITF G4 Zilina and the 14&U European Junior Championships, as shown in the video, losing to Fridman in a tough three setter. Her overall W/L ratio on ITF and Tennis Europe tours combined is 57-11. Incredible year.

2013 will be exciting for her! Maybe she'll play some pro events too. :yeah:

Here's Dalma with her finalist trophy from the 14&U European Junior Championships.

Dalma's playing qualifying for G1 Eddie Herr! It starts this weekend. It will be the biggest event of her career so far. Let's hope she can at least qualify, then in the maindraw it'd be interesting to see how she goes against some of the top juniors in the world.

Olga's also playing so let's hope she doesn't draw her.

You're right! I'm a bit surprised honestly, I would've liked to have seen her test herself in the 18s. In the 14s she really should have high expectations.

Here's her draw anyway. She's the #2 seed.

(15)Krista Cerpina (LAT) vs. Anjana Suresh (CAN)
Shay'Tonya Missicki (BAH) vs. Dulce Sampieri (MEX)
Elizabeth Danailova (BUL) vs. Ingrid Neel (USA)
(2)Dalma Galfi (HUN) vs. Sofija Zecevic (CAN)

Hopefully we'll be able to see some of her matches through the livestreaming on the tournament website. Here's the link.

Dalma's withdrawn from Junior Cap D'Ail. In fact she was entered in several European junior ITF events in the coming weeks but seems to have withdrawn from all of them
