I noticed that Kiki did not have her own thread. But after her recent results I think she deserves one.

After the match Kiki said that the level of the match was very high. And that she played really good herself
Well she just ran into a player whose confidence is pretty high now and is in great form with a 11 match winning streak
After her loss in her QF singles match, Kiki and Nicole Rottmann did reach the doubles final
They def the nr 2 seeds Ferrer Suarez/Giovine 4-6 6-4 11-9.
In the final they will play against the top seeds Barbieri/Grymalska. Final will be played today at 21.00 hrs CET
It's great to see that Kiki seemed to have developed way better than Garbi, comparing the scorelines from this and last year. Of course that's only scoreboardjournalism, but still, Garbi is supposed to be Spain's next big thing (maybe apart from Sara Sorribes) so. :yeah:
Final today at 15.00 against the nr 2 seed Elitsa Kostova (BUL) (WTA: 164).
Elitsa is in great form as a RU in 50k Trnava last week where she def Krunic, Schoofs, Cadantu, Linette and Meusburger all in 3 sets. This week she has not lost a set yet (but did have a WO in R2). Will be another tough match for Kiki.
She should be able to win this match, a good draw for Kiki! If she would be able to defeat Pegula, she will most like face 4th seeded Edina Gallovits-Hall from Romania.
She lost the first set 3-6 Kiki has to compose herself if she wants to win this match, she hasn't even held serve a single time! Hopefully she can serve better the next set.
EDIT: Kiki has hold her serve for the first time in the match, to love! 1-0 up in the second
