Yeah, good to see some of the younger Danish girls performing well. Simone Alipieva reached the SF at the HRT Autumn Cup, which is a pretty good reslut.
Emma Rønholt has had some mixed results in Denmark lately, for instance defeating Malou Ejdesgaard 63 64 in a club match in August, and losing to Malou 16 36 a week ago. No consistency at the moment.
Emilie Francati has played three big tournaments in Asia lately. Currently she's in the SF in Korea (a grade 2 tournament). Emilie will probably move to #160 or so in the ITF rankings (assuming she loses the SF ). She'll be the highest ranked Danish junior since Mai Grage in 2010. Emilie's SF opponent in Korea, Xu Shilin (CHN) has been amazing so far losing only 7 games in her previous 3 matches, so I don't see Emilie winning the SF. Still a very good tournament by Emilie defeating two seeded players
Julie Noe has also played three tournaments in Asia, but lower grades than Emilie. She reached the QF twice, and R3 once. OK results. Curiously, she was beaten by the no. 1 seeded player at each of the three tournaments!
