Maria was talking about playing the AO even after she had surgery in 2008.

IDK, rehab may indeed get her back for the AO, but this problem will always reoccur and bursitis/impingement will lead to another rotator cuff tear if not dealt with properly. A subacromial decompression surgery isn't as bad as needing one to repair a torn rotator cuff. It may mean that she misses a few more months. But it means a lot more months in the long term.
