Danish Championships 2013

R2

(1) Maria Jespersen d. (Q) Stefanie Jolak 60 60
(6) Frederikke Svarre d. Cecilie Melsted 36 76(3) 64

(4) Ulrikke Høyer d. Sofie Bjerringgaard d. 63 61
Julie Noe d. (7) Malene Stripp 6-6 ret.

(5) Emma Rønholt d. Kathrine Berge 62 61
(3) Anna Signe Rasmussen d. Frederikke Uhrskov Støchkel 63 60

Anne Gylling d. (Q) Emma Marie Jensen 63 63
(2) Mai Grage d. (Q) Anna Marie Møller 60 60

Notes:
Mai Grage against two U14 qualifiers in the first two rounds
Høyer vs Noe is an epic clash. Doubles partners, same age. Julie won 62 63 at U18 Championships a month ago.
Rønholt vs Rasmussen will be another big clash. Amazingly, 15 year old Rønholt is leading 3-0 H2H the last 52 weeks! I know I said Anna would win, and I still think she will. But I'd like to see the youngsters break through, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for Emma.
It hurts seeing Melsted struggling, but I'm glad Svarre is doing so well. She's had a really rare development, always progressing at a really slow rate. But constantly improving. Well done
Maria Jespersen seems heading for the final (against Mai). Solid work.
Malene Stripp
Well done by Sofie Bjerringgaard (U14) to reach 2nd round again (she also did that at the indoor championships).
