Maybe I see things wrong.
You don't see things wrong, but I don't know what Laura benefits from always playing unexperienced young opponents in those 10ks. Like someone once said in this forum the field in those events it's always Andrei and a bunch of teenagers. She should take the step up. I see players ranked around 500 WTA who go out there and play qualies for WTA International events, Laura has been in top 300 for more than a year now and still she seems stuck in those 10ks. Well, I suppose that she feels more comfortable beeing seeded. The underdog contention is not for everybody, I agree.
Back to her performance this week...
(3)Anna Karolina Schmiedlova (SVK) d. Laura-Ioana Andrei (ROU)
Better luck next time, Laura!
