As I've already mentioned in this thread, she owns Dabrowski - now 5-0 without losing a set and never more than 6 games in any of their matches.
Didn't realize that weak 50K was moved one week back so she now has W and F points from the same tournament counting towards her rankings, till next week when the task of defending all those points from last summer begins.
Not as close to the top 100 as she looks but I sure hope she'll make it.
Are you sure about that? Cutoff is next week and she has 50 points to defend from making last year's Waterloo's final. Without them she'd be about #120 and I doubt that's enough to get in.
Actually, there was a blurb on the Cooper Challenger site that implied an automatic entry to the US Open for the winner of the tourney. I think that I misread it and they were simply saying that Julia would hit the cutoff by July 15th if she won their tournament.
