Has a winnable match vs MLDB for a place in the main draw.
The "winnable" match did not turn out well. She loses 3-6 0-6! Barring a secret physical health issue, I can't see why she is subjecting herself to the protracted agony of this decline. Is she going to wait to retire until she drops out of the top 200 or 300? Perhaps she is waiting for some arbitrary age deadline or she feels some obligation to represent Israel in the Fed Cup? I am open to any other explanations outside of the obvious, which is that she is in deep denial.
