I took a gap year 'cause I knew I wouldn't get into to medical school if I applied in Year 13 (I had no work experience or volunteering), so I was basically just giving myself a year's more time.
Just seeing this now, exact same scenario as me.
I didn't get good enough grades to bother applying for med and wasn't completely sure I wanted to do it. So, I'm just opting for the gap year, and I'm gonna go for Anthropology now, I've changed my mind a bit in the past but this one has definitely stuck. I just think it's a better course for me to do.

What Uni's did you apply to this year then?
