I think Nadal adjusted his game well enough to have won one or two HC majors regardless. But yes, changes were needed. I do think at this point they have gone a lil' too far with slowing down every HC on tour. But it's funny how the English speaking countries tend to complain most about slow HCs. In order to win majors now you need to have a lot of weapons, strong offense and defense. Today's play hardly rewards people who are pure counter punchers.
