To answer your question: No--not by a long shot,but there's a whole lot of racism in Spain,though I'd guess that most of it comes from middle-aged folks on up,with the older generation being particularly nasty.Jews are often treated like garbage and,though most of us can't afford to travel there,Mexicans are disrespectfully looked down on as jungle savages...as if we were still their colonial subjects...

I spoke to a Spanish girl who works at the same office as I do and she said that Spaniards are now moving to Latin America to work because of the economic crisis that's been troubling Spain for about 6 years now. So, it looks like the tables are turning now...
