Well I find Fed Cup a lot more interesting than the never-ending stream of MMs but still think this was the right choice. 
Hopefully she can get totally pain free before IW. Does she defend any points before that? (Shouldn't really matter, she's in that band of players who are guaranteed MMs but can't quite get into the small Premiers...)
