Bio
I'm a third year student at the London College of Fashion, studying BA Fashion Journalism. I've lived in London for over three years with plans to relocate to New York upon graduation, to pursue a career in magazine Art Direction. I'm very OCD, and a bit of a perfectionist which is both a flaw and a strength. I have a really dry sense of humour, and if you give me more than a glass of Bombay Sapphire I can recite Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart word-for-word. I'm a very visual person and I'm incredibly interested in illustration and fashion photography. Cityscapes and Scandinavia are my biggest aesthetic draws, particularly with my style as I wear a lot of COS, Weekday, ACNE and H&M.
Tennis
I first started to watch and participate in tennis during 2005 after visiting Wimbledon at age 13, now I barely miss a tournament. My favourite player - if you don't already know, is Maria Sharapova. I find her tennis career truly inspirational. I'm also a big fan of Novak Djokovic and, at times, a closet patriotic when cheering for Andy Murray at Wimbledon. My favourite tennis legends have to be Steffi Graf + Roger Federer (though the latter isn't retired, he is undeniably a legend).
Tennis Forum
I've only been active on TennisForum for just under a year now, but I love it. Despite some of the crazy arguments, trolls and basic fuckery, I don't know where I would go to discuss the sport I love if TF didn't exist. Especially SS, a big shout out to my friends there [Jamie, Mark, Craig, Chrissie-Fan, Debby and Jo]
Interests
I'm a freelance fashion illustrator [one of my designs above] and I'm really passionate about graphic design, and in particular, magazine art direction. I love editorial design and typography. I love to play tennis [I have a mean lasso forehand] and running is my favourite past-time, particularly in Hyde Park. My favourite food is Thai, there's this great restaurant called Chaophraya, where I go when I come home for the holidays, they serve the best peanut chicken in the world. My favourite book is a tie between The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Great Gatsby. I can't pick my favourite film because there is just too many! I listen to a lot of electronic music, but my favourite artists are Florence + the Machine, Robyn, M83, The Smiths, David Bowie and The xx.
Places
In my lifetime I've been lucky enough to travel to many places. My all time favourite trips have been to
New York and
Stockholm. New York in February isn't such a great idea, but it's such an insane city, and if you read before, that's what I want to live post graduation. Stockholm on the other hand is really industrial, has amazing stores, and a lot of attractive people. My type if definitely tall Scandi guys
Ambitions
To be happy and healthy.
Then to live in a penthouse in New York working as an art editor for the likes of American Vogue, Elle, GQ or Vanity Fair.
