Nice start of the main draw
Next she plays another qualifier, Allie Will, who took out the 4th seed Floris in the opening round and did so convincingly (2 & 3). Will is also a qualifier in doubles, where she's already reached the QF, so she had quite a few matches already this week - which can be both a good and a bad thing. Her c-h ranking suggests that she is in a whole other category compared to Ajla (never seriously stepped into the 300's), but she had some decent results last year; for instance in September she took out Gallovits-Hall in a 75k and before that played the final in a 25k.
They played eachother once (Ajla is 2 years younger), 5 years ago in Orange Bowl - so on a different surface - and Ajla won in straights. Hope she can do it again.
