I genuinely like everything about the green dress, I think the promo shot is just a one off because, like you said, they surely couldn't have changed the dress by now. The only explanation is that they made Masha's dress for consumers like it was on the Nike site and then made her dress without the gold detailing for AO. But I think we're reading too much into this and it's just a bad photoshop error
