Re: Croatian women in ITF tournaments--2012

It appears that Croatian women were less successful in ITF events in 2012 than in 2011:

+ In 2011, 10 players won 16 singles titles, and 10 players won 22 doubles titles. That's an impressive total of 38(!) titles.
+ In 2012, 6 players won 15 singles titles, and 8 players won 8 doubles titles. That's a total of 23 titles--15 fewer than in 2011.

In 2012, the most successful player in singles was Savic, by far; she won 7 titles, including a $50K. Mekovec, Njiric and Vekic each won 2 titles, while Akiki and Pandzic each won 1 title.

In doubles, Njiric won 2 titles while Akiki, Koprcina, Lucic, Mrdeza, Pandzic, Popovic and Vrljic each won 1 title. Lucic won the only title in the bunch above the $25K level (it was a $50K). Only once did two Croatians win a title together: Pandzic/Popovic at $10K Brcko.

How much success will our players have in 2013?
