I think the conclusion is that the liveliest cities, the ones with soul, great people, great food, great urban life, also come at a certain cost (violence, poverty, trash, etc.) And they pay it in such a study.
But then, Copenhagen is high up there and fits the description of a lively-city-with-issues.
