Natürlich war es ein großer Faktor, dass Kerber gegen Li nichts ausrichten konnte, aber was sollten die Organisatoren machen? Klar, man hätte Errani und Stosur beginnen lassen können, aber ob Kerber dann bei nem 1-2 stündigen späteren Start fitter gewesen wäre.
Der Turnierplan sieht eben drei Matches pro Tag vor. Und Radwanska und Sharapova spielen zu lassen, wäre ja auch noch unfairer gewesen, da sie 1. noch etwas länger spielten und 2. erst nach 2 Uhr Ortszeit das Match beendeten.
