Oh, strange. The Ottoman Turks appeared in the region only in the 13th century or if you stretch it to the most 11th century, and I've tried couple of times to count but can't go up to thousands
. Hundreds would be correct if you change Turkey with Turks because Turkey only exists under this name from 1923.

They didn't coexist for such a long time to be counted as rivals. Let's face it, the Turks wiped out every country on the Balkans quite easily as they were shadows of themselves.
