PYW Doubles Dallas





Welcome to Dallas, USA! The week before the US Open, many players head to the inaugural staging of this tournament as an International event to prepare for the final major of the year in New York. The event last year was won by Sorana Cirstea and Alberta Brianti, but both players are not participating. Many other teams will make strong vies towards the title though, with top seeds Iveta Benesova and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova looking very strong, although the third seeds, who are on the other side of the draw to the Czechs, Jarmila Gajdosova and Klara Zakopalova, will also pose a serious threat to the title. Another dangerous team could be Irina-Camelia Begu and Alize Cornet, Begu was also the runnerup here in PYW last year. Last year the PYW event was won by Sofia Arvidsson and Casey Dellacqua, but both are not in the doubles draws. Vote now for the Texas Tennis Open in Dallas!
