This was my first post in this thread, following a dead-rubber loss to Klaffner in the WG win over Austria in July '07 (her second one - the first was a dead-rubber loss to Pelletier three months earlier).
Well, maybe three years was overly-optimistic, it may take 4 or 5
But seriously, in page 8 of this thread, when she was #750 in early '08, I bet she'd make the top 300 (in response to Neta who said it won't happen).
It took a year and a half.
Then for more than a year she seemed to be stalling, if not going backwards, and according to various articles she was contemplating retirement (although unlike Dudi's case, I think it was media exaggeration in her case).
After seeing the manner in which she handled herself this week, on top of the road to and in the AO qualies, which contained some tight matches, for the first time I think she is destined to be our next top 100 player.
